    Shelby Cycle & ATV, like every other small business, has seen its ups and downs. Started in 2002 by two guys named Charles and Donald, the business was a mild success given that it was started on very limited funds and with NO advertising. After a short time, due to circumstances beyond his control, Donald had to back out and move back home, leaving only Charles. That is where Chris Hudson comes in. Having been great friends for a long time, Chris offered to help Charles out by being there to work "the late shift" as both of them were working full time jobs at the time. This started a whole new vision of a business. "A bike shop that is open 'til 9?" After a while, (and a new baby boy named Austin) Charles decided to give total control to Chris. This left the door open for a new world for him. Being still somewhat young, and never having run his own business before, Chris adopted new policies for his business. Don't do heavy advertising, let the customers do it for you. Do your best to help everyone you can, and they will spread the word. Keep prices low so the average joe can make his/her ride look like a million bucks. With that in mind, THE NEW SHELBY CYCLE & ATV WAS BORN!
